Do you believe in magic?

The moment I have been dreaming about finally happened last night. I got home from softball and was totally exhausted and just wanted to make food and get back to my mountain of work. I was caught cooking in the kitchen, when both German Roomate and Psycho Roomate walked in - as I had long hoped, they both started talking to each other at the same time and I was able to finish cooking and escape the kitchen without saying a word. Finally! It was also really funny because they were both literally talking at the same time and clearly not listening to the other one.

Does it make having to hear Psycho Roomate tell me about the small and insignificant problems going on in her life every time I leave my room? No, but any bit helps.

She came in yesterday (yes, she just comes into my room to talk when the door is closed...) and saw me on gchat.

Psycho: Oooo! You have gchat? I have gchat!
Me: Uh huh
Psycho: (pauses to wait for me to say something about exchanging emails so we could gchat.....)
Me: How's it going?

She still won though, she ended up getting my cell phone number (after complaining for 20 minutes about the service and saying how excited she is to have her new Droid). Sigh.

Also, I have decided to post the text message conversation I had on Friday night with New Boy so it will enrage me again so I am not tempted to sleep with him tomorrow. Feel free to ignore, this is for me.

Background: New Boy had left my place at 5 pm to go play Beer Olympics with his friends. We left it as "I'll talk to you soon." He had been talking about this for a week non-stop, had not invited me, though I had invited him to the event I was suckered into hosting at my place Friday night which would have free food.

10:54 - New Boy - how was the evening?
11:05 - Me - it's been fun, but I could definitely go for Round 2.
11:16 - New Boy - hehehe, so I take it not so well?
11:20 - Me - no, I'm at a party, it's fun, I just thought it would be nice to see you again
11:42 - Me - Guess not?
11:44 - New Boy - sorry, just got your text now. I'm still at the pub with some friends. Beer Olympics didn't happen
11:44 - Me - what pub?
11:45 - New Boy - where so you think?
11:45 - Me - Salt? (name of pub, duh)
11:46 - New Boy - of course, but we may be departing soon as I've already spent wayyy too much money
11:47 - Me - So, sex or not?

....he never texted me back. I called him as I walked home at 12:45 and he, surprisingly, picked up. He said he had texted me back (lie), and had just run into a friend he hadn't seen in 5 years, so that was a no. I politely said "okay, have fun" and hung up.

Here is why I find this situation infuriating (aside from him turning into an inconsiderate jerk who seems sort of uncomfortable around me).

If he actually wants to be friends with me, he should invite me to hang out and join him at events (as I have already gone out with his friends before). In that case, it would be fine for him to text and gchat me every day (yes, everyday, he always contacts me). Friends do that - they can contact people just to say hi.

If he just wants me to be his dirty little secret that he fucks in private, that is 100% fine, but then LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE unless you are calling me to have sex.

As we all know, sex is my kryptonite (cocaine, heroin, etc), so it is really unfair for him to text me at 11 pm on a Friday night - how could I think that is anything but a booty call? Also, once I get the idea of sex on the brain I am absolutely paralyzed.

So to sum, I am really fed up with this kid. I just keep replaying the scene from Friday afternoon when I climbed onto him and he looked me in the eyes and asked "is it big enough for you?" with a completely shameless eyebrow raise. If that can't turn me off enough to say no to him, I don't know what will.....
