I am proud of myself

New Boy has been nothing but rude to my friends and inconsiderate to me, and I am happy to say I finally had enough.

New Boy gchated me last night to see if I wanted to hang out because he had the day off from work. I reminded him that I am a student and have to work during the day, but he seemed okay with an evening date. I asked him what he wanted to do, but since he brags about his awesome date ideas but never has any, I suggested we go to see Date Movie (I love Tina Fey, so sue me) at 7. He tells me that he needs to have dinner with his dad, but he'll be around by 7 and he'll come up with a date idea.

At this point, I must interject that it annoys the shit out of me that he has lunch or dinner with his parents every single time we have plans to meet up. Seriously - oh we're hooking up in the afternoon, well he is going to drive to work to have lunch with his mom. Oh, it's ANY DAY OF THE WEEK, then he's going to have dinner with his dad. Can I remind everyone that he lives with his parents - it's not like dinner is a special occasion.

Moving on, we were chatting today and I asked him what we were doing, and he told me he would text me in the afternoon when he came up with a good idea.

So around 5:30 I booked it out of the office, skipped the gym, threw together a crappy dinner, and was ready to go. At 6:50 he sends me the following text:

New Boy: "definitely not going to make the 7 pm movie, my dad isn't even home yet. If it weren't wet we could lay out under the stars. Any ideas?"

So basically, when he said he would come up with some activity and meet me at 7, what he really meant was we would not meet at 7 and he would suggest the two ideas I had come up with previously.

Fuck it.

I respond back with "My idea: you come up with an idea...just once."

He responded back with "ouch", but then never followed up. I am so totally over him.

Part of it is that the new birth control I am on is curbing my sex drive, which allows me to think like a normal person, but I like to pretend that I am actually capable of ending a sexual relationship when someone is a total jackass and completely disrespectful of me and my friends.
